Fluffy Cake Donut


Ingredient
2 cups (280g) flour
3/4 cups (150g) sugar
2 tsp (10g) baking powder
3/4 cup (178ml) milk
1 tsp (5g) salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp (5ml) vanilla
1 tbsp (15g) shortening, melted
1/4 tsp (1.25g) nutmeg
1/4 tsp (1.25g) cinnamon

Glaze
1 cup (140g) confectioner's sugar
2 tbsp (30ml) Hot Water

Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
  3. Add shortening, eggs, milk and vanilla
  4. Beat until well blended.
  5. Fill each Mini Donut Hole 2/3 full.
  6. Bake 8 minutes or until tops spring back when lightly touched.
  7. Cool. Remove from pan and dip into glaze
  8. Decorate with sprinkles, nuts, chocolate chips etc
  9. Recipe make approx 36 mini donuts with the mini donut pan
